Thermostats
A thermostat is an electronic component that senses the temperature of its environment. Thermostats are often the main control unit for heating and cooling systems, and are responsible for maintaining ambient temperature near a desired setpoint.
Thermostats control temperature by switching heating or cooling devices on or off to maintain the correct temperature. To control temperatures in an enclosure, a thermostat would be responsible for turning on or off small heaters and fans.
Thermostats provide consistent operating conditions within enclosures to produce greater reliability, reduce energy consumption, and improve equipment efficiency. Thermostats also assist in protecting electronic equipment from corrosion and other damage due to condensation.

- The FLZ series are available with N.C. / N.O. and changeover contacts. In combination with control cabinet heaters, they serve for temperature control inside the control cabinet.
- In combination with filterfans, they provide for additional savings on energy, materials, and time. All in all, this results in greater reliability of the production process, reduced energy consumption due to need-based use and improvement in the efficiency of the controlled heaters and filterfans.

- FLH radiant heaters are used in combination with a thermostat or hygrostat, predominantly for the avoidance of excessively low temperatures or excessively high humidity in the control cabinet.
- Different performance ratings from 45 to 150 Watts ensure that the correct heating power is always available. The total required heat can be distributed in a control cabinet according to needs.
- Available with either terminal or connecting cable.

- The FLZ series of twin thermostats integrates two independently switchable thermostats. They are available with N.C. /N.O., N.C./N.C., and N.O./N.O. contacts.
- Unlike thermostats with changeover contacts, connected devices can be switched in different temperature ranges.
